The third annual Chardon BrewFest, featuring 24 brewers from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania, will be held September 13 from noon-5 p.m. at the Eltech Building located at 100 Seventh Avenue in Chardon. Get a free ticket by becoming a member of Chardon Tomorrow. You may join through the link on the right or by filling out our membership application. Advance tickets are $25 and include 15 tastings and a mug. Tickets are $35 day of and designated driver tickets are $5. There will also be food and live music from Elm Street Blues, Stray Louie and Tyrone’s Blues Sinsation. Additional tasting tickets will be available day of the event for $5 for three and $9 for 15.
The event is sponsored by Lake Health. Also on September 13, Chardon Tomorrow is holding its first annual 5K Run for Suds sponsored by Junction Auto Sales. The race starts at 10:30 a.m. Chip’s Clubhouse located at 214 Fifth Avenue, Chardon and ends Heinen’s located near the BrewFest site. Runners can register for a combination BrewFest/race package or for the race only.
